- Security Compliance: Conducted regular scanning and patching to
maintain security standards.
- Database Support: Provided full support for Oracle DB and MS SQLDB,
including handover and snag rectifications.
- Advanced Deployments: Implemented RAC and RMAN configurations for
both existing and new databases.
- Troubleshooting & Change Management: Resolved user connectivity
issues and executed approved change requests during off-hours.
- Expert-Level Support: Delivered L3 support for undocumented Oracle
DB activities.
- Policy & Standards: Created and maintained database standards,
policies, and documentation (MOPs).
- Routine Operations: Handled installation, reconfiguration, user
management, and data distribution.
- Performance & Availability: Managed incidents, problems, and
ensured optimal database performance.
- Backup & Recovery: Implemented robust backup strategies and
disaster recovery setups using Oracle Data Guard and RAC.
- Security Audits: Identified and managed database security issues
and audit trails.
- Testing & Upgrades: Conducted failover testing, system
migrations, and database upgrades during night-time windows to meet application
cutover requirements.
